The Wiz
If you check out Master Wieczerza's website, you'll find her bio reads:
Master Wieczerza is a 7th Degree black belt in AAU Taekwondo, 6th Degree in World Taekwondo Federation, and a 3rd Degree in Goju Shorei Weapons Systems. She is also the AAU Southeastern District Sports chair. She has been teaching martial arts for over 25 years. Master Wieczerza is also the technology director for University School of Nashville. One of the highest ranking women in the US, Master Wieczerza is also the first woman to receive a black belt under the Goju Shorei weapons system.
But, this is only the beginning. We all know her as "The Wiz," which has far less to do with an abbreviation of her name and far more to do with her ability to inspire the hopeless, re-energize the tired, and help those who think they are weak find their strength. If you have ever seen her on the mat, then you've seen her work her magic. The most important thing is, though, that she doesn't reserve her gifts for the mat; she gives them freely, all day, every day, to everyone she meets.
She is the Queen of Pay-It-Forward and is the first at the door of any one who needs a hand. The whilrwind comes, The Wiz takes charge, and as she leaves, everything she's touched is better... improved. She is a Red Belt at heart, though the Black Belt she wears is heavy with stripes.
The belt that the Wiz is talking about in the quote was given to her by Master McNeill. The red trim was added by Skip Ewing. Under Master McNeill's system, Red Belt is the highest rank one can attain, while in Master Wieczerza's it is the belt worn right before Shodan, and represents the fire and passion of the martial artist on his journey.

"When I got this belt, one of my students made red trim around the edge, because he understands that in my heart I’m always a red belt. Lots of energy, lots of enthusiasm, lots of intensity. Red Belts are always asking, 'Can I [help]? Me! Me! Pick Me!' They want to be the first to help and the last to leave."
